The Getup Vintage

The Getup Vintage is a 100% woman-owned and operated vintage clothing store established in 2005 by vintage collectors Paul and Kelly McLeod. Now located at 210 South Fourth Avenue in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the shop specializes in hand-selected, one-of-a-kind vintage clothing, jewelry, and accessories from the 1950s through the 1990s, with particular focus on pieces from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Currently owned and operated by Lindsey Leyland and Kaylan Mitchell, who purchased the business from its founders in 2015, The Getup Vintage is committed to environmentally-conscious fashion and sustainable consumption as an alternative to fast fashion. The store is known for its extensive cleaning and restoration process for each item and regularly collaborates with the University of Michigan on workshops teaching clothing repair and sustainable fashion practices to students.
