The Free Store

The Blue Water Free Store and Ministry Center is a nonprofit community resource located at 3482 Lapeer Road in Port Huron, Michigan, operated as a ministry of the United Methodist Church. The Free Store provides free clothing, household items, books, toys, and other essentials to those in need, with over 8,000 registered families served, and operates on a monthly visitation schedule. The organization is staffed by dedicated volunteers who maintain the store’s organization and cleanliness while serving the greater Port Huron community with the mission of “Serving people, offering hope, all for Christ.”
