Yellow Umbrella

Yellow Umbrella is a locally owned women’s clothing and accessories boutique located at 204 3rd St. NW in downtown Bemidji, Minnesota, founded in 2009 by sisters-in-law Jennifer and Jen Pomp. Originally started as a small shop selling handmade items in a former Nymore church, the business has grown significantly — and after purchasing two adjacent historic downtown buildings in 2019, the Pomps merged Yellow Umbrella with their sister store, 218 Clothing + Gift, into a single nearly 5,000-square-foot retail space. Today, the combined store offers boutique-style women’s clothing, jewelry, and accessories alongside Minnesota-themed apparel, serving as a beloved staple of the Bemidji shopping scene.
