Hermine

Hermine is a curated vintage shop located at 323 N 1st Avenue in downtown Minneapolis, specializing in carefully selected men’s and women’s clothing and accessories from the 1980s through early 2000s. Founded by Lilly Alexander, who began selling vintage pieces online in 2019 under the name Goodshop Badshop before opening the brick-and-mortar location in August 2024 in partnership with her husband Willy Schwartz, Hermine emphasizes sustainability by focusing exclusively on pieces made from natural fibers such as cotton, linen, wool, and silk. The shop features a mix of American sportswear, including brands like Polo Ralph Lauren, and welcomes guest vintage vendors to collaborate on rotating collections. Beyond retail, Hermine is committed to community engagement through sustainable fashion workshops and events, with plans for outdoor gatherings on a covered patio, and the shop’s founders aim to foster a vibrant community that celebrates intentional, slow fashion as an alternative to fast-fashion consumption.
