Moth Oddities is a vintage shop located at 13 5th St NE in northeast Minneapolis, Minnesota, specializing in hand-curated clothing, accessories, and home goods sourced from across the USA and Italy, primarily from the 1950s through 1990s. Founded in 2014 by Yana Pietras and Ian O’Neill, the business began as an online venture and mobile operation before opening a brick-and-mortar storefront in summer 2021. In 2023, Moth Oddities expanded by opening Moth Studio next door, a community-centered workspace dedicated to creativity, sustainability, and experimentation. Beyond retail operations, the business has demonstrated significant community involvement, including hosting donations for families impacted by increased immigration enforcement in the city and participating in local events like Art-A-Whirl. The shop also highlights products by local and independent makers and is committed to reducing textile waste through promoting vintage and recycled fashion.
