Old School by Steeple People

Old School by Steeple People is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit thrift store located at 2728 Lyndale Avenue South in Minneapolis, Minnesota, serving the community since its founding in 1979 by members of Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church. The store sells quality donated clothing and household goods at affordable prices, with all profits donated to charitable causes that support the local community. Originally operating as Steeple People Thrift Store for 38 years at the corner of Franklin and Lyndale before relocating to the Stevens Square neighborhood in October 2018, Old School relies on a dedicated team of volunteers and staff to operate its mission of promoting justice, kindness, and environmental sustainability through the recirculation of material goods.
