The Big Thrift

The Big Thrift is a nonprofit thrift store located at 657 Highway 49 in Richland, Mississippi. Established in 2014, the store operates as a social enterprise that supports two animal welfare organizations: Mississippi Animal Rescue League and Mississippi Spay and Neuter, also known as the Big Fix Clinic. The thrift store offers a wide variety of merchandise including clothing, furniture, housewares, jewelry, toys, and vinyl records, all sold at affordable prices. All proceeds from purchases are donated to support animal adoption and discounted spay and neuter services for Mississippi pets and homeless animals. The Big Thrift operates Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., maintains a clean and well-organized facility, and has become a neighborhood favorite among residents in the Richland area and surrounding communities.
