Black Dog Antiques

Black Dog Antiques is Anaconda’s only antique mall, located at 1200 East Park Avenue in the historic Washoe Brewery Building, which was constructed in 1905 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The 10,000-square-foot upscale retail store features merchandise from more than 30 dealers, offering a curated collection of antiques, vintage pieces, collectibles, furniture, glassware, jewelry, clothing, and home décor items, with a particular emphasis on mining and railroad memorabilia from Butte and Anaconda’s historic heyday. The business is owned by Renee Amato, who holds an MBA and is a graduate of the Ashford Antiques Institute and The Interior Design Institute, bringing both business expertise and specialized knowledge of antiques and interior design to the operation. Black Dog Antiques operates seasonally, with extended summer hours from Memorial Day through Labor Day and reduced hours Thursday through Monday during the rest of the year.
