Second Edition Books

Second Edition Books is one of Montana’s largest used bookstores, located at 112 South Montana Street in historic uptown Butte. Established in 1985 by Kathy Finch and now operated by her daughter Ann Finch-Johnston, the store specializes in Western Americana, Montana titles, mining and geology books, and children’s literature across over 30,000 volumes in a spacious, comfortable browsing environment. The independent bookstore serves local customers and draws readers from across western Montana with its diverse collection of rare, collectible, and classic hardback and paperback titles.
