Bud’s Thrift Shoppe

Bud’s Thrift Shoppe, located at 2226 O Street in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska, is a nonprofit thrift store offering men’s and women’s clothing, furniture, home décor, household goods, and vintage items. Named after Pastor Bud Christenson, the founder of Bridges to Hope, the shoppe serves as a fundraiser for Bridges to Hope, an organization dedicated to helping recently released prisoners reintegrate into society by providing them with essential clothing, housing resources, and household furnishings at no cost. The original location opened in November 2017, and the current downtown location opened on June 20, 2019. Revenue generated from sales supports Bridges to Hope’s mission, with the organization relying on donations and proceeds from the thrift shop to sustain its work assisting formerly incarcerated individuals in Lincoln and throughout Nebraska.
