Thrift World

Thrift World is a retail thrift store company founded in 1996 in Omaha, Nebraska, that operates eight locations across Iowa, Nebraska, and Missouri. The business specializes in selling used clothing, accessories, furniture, electronics, and household goods while promoting recycling and waste reduction. Thrift World works in partnership with nonprofit organizations to increase awareness and support for charitable causes while diverting textile waste from landfills and creating local employment opportunities. Multiple locations operate throughout the Omaha area, with the West Omaha location at 10765 M St. opening in 2021 in a 50,000-square-foot space shared with Midlands Printing. In addition to its physical retail presence, Thrift World operates an export business and an e-commerce store and annually diverts over 10 million pounds of textile waste from landfills.
