The Giving Store

The Giving Store is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) upscale thrift store located at 274 E Lake Mead Parkway in Henderson, Nevada. Established in August 2011, the store sells a wide variety of new and gently used items including clothing, furniture, household goods, toys, electronics, and books at competitive prices. All proceeds from the store benefit S.A.F.E. House, the local shelter for domestic violence victims and their children. Additionally, the store directs some profits toward music and dance scholarships for underprivileged local children. The Giving Store accepts quality donations during operating hours and has distributed over $77,500 to its charitable recipients since opening. Items that cannot be sold are re-donated to other nonprofit organizations, with resulting gift cards distributed to shelter residents to help them establish safe and stable households.
