Gibson’s Bookstore

Gibson’s Bookstore is Concord’s only independent bookstore, located at 45 South Main Street, offering a curated selection of current and classic titles, an on-site café, and regular author events and readings. Founded in 1898 as the oldest continuously operating retailer in the Concord area, the bookstore expanded to its current 10,000-square-foot location in 2013, becoming New Hampshire’s largest independent bookstore. The store actively supports the community through partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and local organizations.
