About

The Marion Gerrish Community Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1972 in downtown Derry, New Hampshire, located at 39 West Broadway. Originally founded as the West Side Community Center, the facility was renamed in 1999 to honor Marion Gerrish, who dedicated 28 years of service to the organization, particularly through her work founding and managing the Thrift Shop. The center provides meeting and rental space for more than 150 different organizations, groups, and clubs from Derry and surrounding communities, offering eight individual rooms available for various gatherings, events, and private functions. The center operates an onsite Thrift Shop located in the basement that serves as the primary source of revenue, accepting donations of gently used clothing, household items, books, furniture, and other goods, with all proceeds supporting the nonprofit’s operations and community mission. The facility is fully handicap accessible and conveniently situated with ample parking available.
