Corey’s Closet

Corey’s Closet is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) thrift store located at 1271 Hooksett Road in Hooksett, New Hampshire, founded in 2017 by Brenda and John Sliwerski to provide meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities aged 21 and older. The store offers affordable merchandise including clothing, books, jewelry, antique items, and home furnishings, with 100% of proceeds dedicated to employee training and program expansion. Through employment at Corey’s Closet, individuals with developmental disabilities gain valuable work experience, develop independence and self-respect, and foster meaningful connections within their community, while also serving local shoppers seeking quality items at low prices.
