TROSA Thrift Store and Donation Center

TROSA Thrift Store and Donation Center, located at 3500 North Roxboro Street in Durham, is a nonprofit enterprise supporting TROSA, a registered 501(c)3 organization founded in 1994 dedicated to helping individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. The thrift store accepts donations and sells gently used items including clothing, furniture, household goods, and decor, with proceeds supporting TROSA’s evidence-based community programs. The store also features an on-site custom framing shop offering archival framing services for art, textiles, and heirlooms. Beyond retail operations, TROSA provides free pickup service for large furniture donations and has earned recognition as INDY Week’s “Best Nonprofit in Durham County,” while achieving a 99% rate of zero new criminal convictions among program graduates one year after completion.
