Second Bloom of Chatham Thrift Shop

Second Bloom of Chatham Thrift Shop is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization located at 630 East Street in Pittsboro, North Carolina, that sells new and gently used men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, and jewelry. Established in 2018, the thrift shop was created to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Chatham County, with all proceeds funding the organization’s comprehensive services including a 24/7 helpline, counseling, and community education programs. The organization, incorporated as a nonprofit in August 2017, is recognized as a member of the North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the North Carolina Coalition Against Sexual Assault, and the North Carolina Coalition Against Human Trafficking, and operates the thrift shop with dedicated volunteers to advance its mission of identifying needs and raising awareness about intimate partner and sexual violence in the community.
