The business was created in 2023 when two well-established Wilmington institutions—Second Skin Vintage and The Wonder Shop—merged through owners Karyn Oetting and Kelsey Gibbs. The store specializes in mid-20th century pieces from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, along with iconic vintage from the 1890s to 1990s, with a commitment to size-inclusive selections. Second Wonder Vintage is known for meticulous restoration and cleaning of all items, transparency about any damage, and professional repairs by their in-house seamstress.
