The Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch Thrift Store in Bismarck, located at 1335 E Interstate Avenue, is a nonprofit thrift store dedicated to supporting children and families across North Dakota. Operated by Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, a Christ-centered residential treatment and educational facility, the thrift store offers a diverse selection of furniture, clothing, household goods, decor, and media items. One hundred percent of store proceeds directly support the Ranch’s mission of providing healing and hope for children ages 10-17 struggling with psychiatric, behavioral, and trauma issues. Beyond generating funding, the thrift store also provides employment and job training opportunities through multiple community and federal programs, reduces landfill waste through donations, and makes essentials affordable for families. The store serves as part of a broader network of eight thrift locations throughout North Dakota, all working to strengthen the organization’s residential treatment facilities, outpatient psychiatric services, and on-campus schooling programs.
