Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch Thrift Store

Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch Thrift Store in Grand Forks, located at 2017 DeMers Avenue, is part of a network of eight thrift stores that have been operating since 1986 to support the nonprofit Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch. The Grand Forks location is distinctive as the only store with a full warehouse on-site and features a large selection of furniture, home goods, decor, clothing, and media. As a nonprofit enterprise, 100% of proceeds from the thrift stores support the Ranch’s mission of providing hope and healing for troubled children and adolescents through residential treatment facilities, outpatient psychiatric and psychological services, and on-campus education. Beyond funding the organization’s therapeutic programs, the thrift stores contribute to the community by making essentials affordable for families, providing employment and job training, reducing waste through donations, and strengthening North Dakota’s economy by employing over 150 people and generating nearly $4 million in annual wages.
