Midtown District

Midtown District, located at 1726 South Washington Street in Grand Forks, North Dakota, is an enclosed shopping mall that was originally opened in 1964 as the first enclosed shopping mall built in North Dakota. The mall features over 40 locally owned businesses and services including Ace Hardware, Midtown Marketplace, and Scan Design, and is owned by HOPE Evangelical Covenant Church since 2015, with daily operations managed by Land of Hope, LLC. In January 2026, the mall underwent a rebranding and officially changed its name from Grand Cities Mall to Midtown District.
