Dakota Boys & Girls Ranch Thrift Store, located at 1206 South Broadway in Minot, North Dakota, is a nonprofit thrift store operated by Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch to support its mission of providing hope and healing for children and adolescents. The store sells gently used donated items including clothing, furniture, household goods, sporting equipment, and books at affordable prices. One hundred percent of the store’s proceeds support the Ranch’s residential treatment facilities, outpatient psychiatric services, and educational programs across North Dakota. Beyond fundraising, the thrift store provides employment and job training through more than 15 community, state, and federal programs, promotes sustainability by keeping donated items out of landfills, and strengthens the local economy through employment opportunities. The Minot location is one of eight thrift stores operated by Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch across North Dakota and Minnesota, all dedicated to supporting at-risk youth in the community.
