Gay Fad Studios is a retail store and museum located at 137 W Main Street in Lancaster, Ohio, specializing in mid-century modern glassware and barware. Originally founded by Fran Taylor in 1939 and operating until 1962, the company was resurrected in 2022 by partners Dave and Jason Annecy, who combined new collections with vintage designs that echo the original brand’s colorful geometric patterns and playful aesthetic. The studio features an on-site museum housing over 3,000 pieces of original glassware, boxes, and photographs from the historic company, and actively contributes to Lancaster’s community through events, downtown murals featuring original Gay Fad designs, and collaborations with international style icons.
