Something New Thrift Store is a black-owned, women-owned thrift shop located at 5248 Market Street in West Philadelphia. Since its founding in 2011, the store has served the community by offering a carefully curated selection of pre-loved clothing, furniture, household items, and accessories. Founded and managed by Yvonne, who transitioned from a 25-year corporate career with support from her husband and co-owner Phillip, Something New distinguishes itself through its clean, well-organized layout and friendly service. The business demonstrates strong community commitment by accepting donations of gently-used items and distributing complimentary bread and danish pastries to customers on select Mondays each month. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
