Liberty Ministries Thrift

Liberty Ministries Thrift is a nonprofit thrift store chain operating seven locations across Bucks and Montgomery counties, with locations in Quakertown at 1465 West Broad Street and 240 South West End Boulevard. Established as Liberty Ministries Thrift in 1998 to support the broader ministry founded in 1980, the stores offer a wide range of merchandise including furniture, clothing, home goods, electronics, toys, and more. The organization’s mission focuses on “Bringing Grace, Hope & Transformation to those broken by incarceration,” supporting incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals through spiritual and material assistance. Revenue from the Quakertown thrift stores and six other locations directly funds Liberty Ministries’ work with inmates at Montgomery County Correctional Facility and Phoenix Correctional Facility, while also providing clothing and furniture vouchers to struggling ex-inmates, assisting thousands of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated men and women with education, support services, and Christian-based rehabilitation programs.
