About

The Town Trader is a 3,300-square-foot antique shop with twenty-two booths located in Chepachet, a historic village in Glocester, Rhode Island. Housed in a 1690s trading post and the oldest structure in Historic Chepachet Village, the building features hand-hewn beams and a flue-less beehive brick fireplace. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and currently operates as an antique furniture and home furnishings shop, offering visitors a chance to explore historic treasures while experiencing one of Rhode Island’s oldest preserved buildings.
