Mercantile 1858

Mercantile 1858 is a locally-owned home décor and gift boutique located at 4812 Murfreesboro Road in Arrington, Tennessee, featuring vintage and vintage-inspired products, handmade goods from over 40 local artisans, and curated furniture and gifts. Owner Matthew Bretherick took over the location in 2015 when it was known as The Faded Farmhouse, rebranding it as Mercantile 1858 in June 2018 as an homage to the year the building was constructed. The boutique has expanded to include a second location in Franklin, Tennessee, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences through personable interactions and individualized styling.
