Second Source Thriftstore

Second Source Thriftstore is a nonprofit thrift store located at 292 W Old Andrew Johnson Hwy in Jefferson City, Tennessee. Operating as a pay-by-the-pound retail operation, the store offers a wide variety of merchandise including clothing, shoes, furniture, home goods, kitchen items, bedding, and toys. Founded to serve underemployed and working poor individuals while remaining open to the public, Second Source generates proceeds from its sales to support Appalachian Outreach’s community initiatives. The store has played a significant role in the organization’s growth, having raised $750,000 toward the construction of Samaritan House, a homeless shelter for women and children, and helping purchase the current Ministry Center facility.
