Steered Straight TOO Furniture & Thrift is a non-profit thrift store located at 1007 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, dedicated to fighting substance abuse and supporting at-risk youth. The store, which opened in March 2022, offers a wide selection of furniture, clothing, electronics, toys, and household items, with 100 percent of proceeds funding the organization’s mission to impact youth and encourage positive life choices. Founded as a small boutique thrift operation in January 2020, Steered Straight has expanded to multiple locations across Murfreesboro as customer donations and community support grew. The organization provides educational programs in schools nationwide, having reached over one million youth since 2016 with messages about avoiding drugs, alcohol, suicide, and bullying. The store operates Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed Mondays, and welcomes community donations to support its mission.
