Genesis Benefit Thrift Store

Genesis Benefit Thrift Store is a nonprofit retail operation located at 3419 Knight Street in Dallas, Texas, operated by Genesis Women’s Shelter and Support to support survivors of domestic violence. For more than 20 years, the store has offered gently-used merchandise including clothing for men, women, and children, furniture, home décor, and accessories. A key aspect of the store’s mission is providing free shopping for Genesis clients and their children, allowing them to select items they need for their unique situations, while 100% of monetary contributions directly fund life-changing services for shelter residents. The thrift store welcomes donations from the community and has earned recognition from Dallas Observer for its mission-driven approach to retail.
