Player 1 Video Games is a family-owned video game store located at 101 W Parkwood Ave in Friendswood, TX, that opened in early 2010. The shop buys, sells, and trades vintage and contemporary video game systems and games ranging from the Atari 2600 to current consoles like the PS5, along with accessories including controllers, cables, and merchandise like plush toys and action figures. Owner Michael Wicks built the store’s initial inventory from his personal collection, which dates back to the 1970s.
