Eggemeyer’s General Store
About
Eggemeyer’s General Store has been delighting San Angelo visitors since 1988, operating as a family-owned, two-story nostalgic general store in the historic downtown district at 35 East Concho Avenue. The store offers an authentic general store experience featuring homemade fudge, vintage antiques, toys, candy, jewelry, home décor, and souvenirs, with seasonal Christmas displays and ornaments. Founded by Bobby and Karen Eggemeyer with their three children—including youngest son Eric who remains a full-time employee—the business grew from their original store, the County Depot, established in Wall in 1983.
