Velvet: A Vintage Collection is a women-owned vintage shop located at 253 South Broadway Avenue in downtown Tyler, Texas, that opened in November 2020. The store specializes in handpicked vintage clothing, furniture, and home décor items ranging from the 1960s through the early 2000s, with an emphasis on mid-century modern and 1960s-1970s pieces. Co-owners Olivia Montgomery and Brianna Akins curated the shop to fill a gap in East Texas’s vintage market, offering a carefully selected collection of clothing, accessories, home goods, and furniture pieces with a distinctive aesthetic and welcoming atmosphere that sets it apart from other antique retailers in the region.
