Moon’s Rare Books

Moon’s Rare Books is a museum-quality rare bookstore in Provo, Utah, located at 4801 N University Ave, specializing in rare and antique Bibles dating back 500+ years, early Mormon documents and history, classic literature, and historical artifacts. Owner Reid Moon opened the store in Provo in 2015 after more than 25 years in the bookselling business, and has curated a collection of approximately 5,000 items, which he shares through storytelling events and daily social media content that has made the store a worldwide destination. The shop combines a bookstore with museum-like exhibits, including themed rooms featuring Hollywood memorabilia and pop culture artifacts, along with regular “Show and Tell” events where patrons can view rare treasures from Moon’s personal vault.
