Habitat for Humanity ReStore – Greater Salt Lake Area is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center located at 1276 South 500 West in Salt Lake City, UT. The ReStore sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, and building materials to the public at a fraction of retail prices. As part of Habitat for Humanity Greater Salt Lake Area, a nonprofit housing organization founded in 1976, the ReStore generates funding for local housing initiatives and community programs that support affordable homeownership and critical home repairs. The store operates Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and accepts donations of building materials and household items from the community. Beyond retail operations, the ReStore also supports the Habitat Cares Program, which provides housing reentry support and services for people experiencing homelessness, while proceeds from sales help fund Habitat’s efforts to build homes and improve communities locally and around the world.
