Old Gold

Old Gold is a locally-owned vintage clothing and costume shop in Burlington, Vermont, located at 151 Cherry Street. Founded in 1972 by Ed Winant, the store began by selling military surplus and denim before evolving to carry a diverse selection of vintage clothing from all eras, new apparel, costumes, and accessories. Current owner Karin Eisenberg purchased the business a decade ago and has maintained its reputation as a destination for event wear, theatrical costumes, and unique fashion pieces. The store, which relocated to Cherry Street in 2019 after operating on Main Street for over 40 years, is known for seasonal hiring during Halloween and has been a staple of Burlington’s fashion community for decades.
