Bittner Antiques is a third-generation Vermont antique dealer founded by Brian Bittner, a specialist in watches, jewelry, silver, art, coins, and collectibles with over twenty years of experience in the industry. The family business traces its roots to the 1960s when Bittner’s grandfather opened Yankee Ingenuity Antiques in Brattleboro, Vermont. Located at 2997 Shelburne Road in Shelburne, Vermont, Bittner Antiques opened its climate-controlled showroom in early 2023 after operating online and at antique shows throughout New England. The business offers comprehensive services including buying, selling, appraisals, and auction consignments, with Brian serving as a licensed auctioneer and former president of the Vermont Antique Dealers Association. Beyond commerce, the business has demonstrated community commitment, donating portions of early sales proceeds to Vermont Releaf Collective, an organization supporting BIPOC people’s connections to Vermont’s land and agriculture.
