Twice Is Nice

Twice Is Nice is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit donation-based resale boutique located in Charlottesville, Virginia that has served the community for more than 40 years since its establishment in 1981. The store features gently used men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, collectibles, furniture, and housewares, all generously donated by the community. Operated by volunteers, Twice Is Nice directs all proceeds to programs benefiting seniors in need throughout the greater Charlottesville area, having distributed $270,000 to community organizations in 2024. The nonprofit recently reopened in a newly renovated consolidated space that brings together its staff, volunteers, and inventory under one roof, positioning the organization for continued growth and community impact while promoting sustainable shopping and recycling practices.
