The Octopus’ Garden

The Octopus’ Garden is a quirky gift shop located at 1327 George Washington Way in Richland, Washington’s Uptown Shopping Center, specializing in pop culture items, greeting cards, fun fashion, toys, and creative merchandise from popular gift and souvenir companies. Founded nearly 50 years ago by owner Gus Sako, the shop originally started as a plant shop on the mezzanine of JCPenney before evolving into its current eclectic gift shop format that has become known as “Eastern Washington’s #1 Tourist Destination.”
