Mountain Mission Inc

Mountain Mission Incorporated is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, faith-based charitable organization established in 1926 that serves families and individuals throughout the Greater Kanawha Valley in West Virginia. Located at 1620 Seventh Avenue in Charleston, the organization provides emergency financial and in-kind assistance to those experiencing unexpected hardships, including support with housing, utilities, medical needs, food, clothing, and appliances. In addition to emergency services, Mountain Mission operates thrift stores offering gently used goods at affordable prices and hosts an annual Christmas food drive that has distributed holiday baskets to local families for nearly a century. The organization is managed by an executive director and board of community leaders dedicated to meeting both the spiritual and physical needs of those served.
