The Vintage Vance’s

The Vintage Vance’s is a vintage clothing boutique operated by Derek Vance, a Charleston, West Virginia-based graphic designer and vintage enthusiast, located at 1825 Bigley Avenue in Charleston. The shop specializes in curated vintage clothing and accessories sourced from thrift stores and estate sales, with Vance building his passion for vintage items after being inspired by his wife’s love of thrifting. Beyond his retail operation, Vance has become deeply involved in the local vintage community by organizing the Charleston Vintage Fest, an annual event that began in June 2024 and has grown to draw thousands of shoppers and more than 50 vendors from across West Virginia and neighboring states. Through his business and event organizing efforts, Vance actively promotes environmental sustainability by keeping secondhand items out of landfills and supports the local Charleston economy and independent businesses.
