Downtown Mainstreet, Inc.

Downtown Mainstreet, Inc. is a nonprofit organization created in 1990 to oversee and facilitate the revitalization of La Crosse’s central business district. The organization, headquartered at 319 Main Street, serves as the leading advocate for downtown and focuses on economic development, marketing, small business support, and design and beautification initiatives. Downtown Mainstreet received national recognition with the 2002 Great American Main Street Award and continues to work with local businesses and community stakeholders to enhance the vitality of the historic downtown district.
